Sabi Hub has an opening for an Administrative Manager who will act as the point of contact for all activities as it relates to Sabi hub’s programs and projects.

About the role:

The ideal candidate will work with the team to help coordinate our hub, office space, programs, and project logistics, administration, documentation, finance, partnerships, volunteers, HR, fundraising, communication and overall growth of the organization while reporting and taking strategic guidance from the Board of Directors.

Duties / Job Deliverable

  • Help foster and maintain institutional relationships with Sabi hub’s partners in Nigeria, including public engagement and stakeholder participation in the start-up space as well as cultivating a community around it.
  • Assists in fundraising for grants for programs, rent our space for events and co-working, partnership for events, support in grant writing and applications to advance activities of Sabi Hub.
  • Lead in finance management — budget preparation, expenses management, audits, process invoices and follow up with clients, workspace members, and partners as needed.
  • Coordinate team meetings and prepare reports for the board monthly.
  • Workspace management and oversight to grow usage and make the space a sort after place for entrepreneurs and partnerships.
  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers to support the organization’s activities.
  • Coordinate the basic HR activities, contracting, filing and necessary company documentation.
  • Support in coordinating Sabi Hub’s community activities and relationship through the development of a community engagement plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics.
  • Support in driving engagement on all Sabi hub communication channels while monitoring community engagement results on a quarterly basis.
  • Work with the team to coordinate communications eg Website, LinkedIn, press releases, publications, blogs, social media posts in innovative ways, while facilitating effective internal and external communications.

Requirements:

  • BSc. in Management related courses
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of the technology and entrepreneurship space
  • Proven work experience in public relations and community engagement.
  • Track record in designing and executing successful programs or project
  • Expert knowledge on working with google suite tools and online collaboration tools — slack, Trello.
  • Knowledge of drafting proposals, presentations, blogs, and general organizational communication materials
  • Proven passion for community development projects and people interest
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and finance management.
  • Good leadership and management skills.
  • High integrity, humility, team spirit, willingness to learn and grow.
